Education

Kingman has 15 schools including 13 public schools and 2 private schools. Kingman public schools belong to three districts, Hackberry School District, Kingman Academy of Learning School District and Kingman Unified School District. There are 10 Kingman elementary schools, 12 Kingman middle schools and 3 Kingman high schools.

There is also community college, as well as an extension of a state university. Various vocational opportunities are available. If you have a child with special needs, one word you are going to hear regarding education is "inclusion." It applies to the US educational system, as mandated by the Individuals With Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
